Setting Up a Domain Alias in Plesk
Learn how to set up a domain alias in Plesk. A domain alias allows you to point additional domain names to the same website, so visitors can reach your site using different addresses.
Steps
- Log in to Plesk via your Zeniar Portal
- Select Websites & Domains from the left-hand menu
- Expand the website you'd like to add an alias for
- Click on Domain Aliases under the Hosting & DNS section
- Click Add Domain Alias
- Enter the domain name you'd like to use as an alias
- Choose whether you'd like the alias to redirect to the main domain or display the same content directly
- Tick Synchronise DNS zone with the primary domain if you'd like the alias to use the same DNS settings
- Click OK to save
Your domain alias is now active. Visitors using the alias domain will be directed to your main website.
