Installing an SSL Certificate in Plesk
Learn how to install a free SSL certificate on your website in Plesk. An SSL certificate secures the connection between your website and its visitors, and is essential for building trust and improving your search engine ranking.
Steps
- Log in to Plesk via your Zeniar Portal
- Select Websites & Domains from the left-hand menu
- Expand the website you'd like to secure
- Click on SSL/TLS Certificates under the Security section
- Click Install next to the free Let's Encrypt certificate option
- Enter your email address and ensure your domain name is correct
- Tick the Include www option if you'd like the certificate to cover both www and non-www versions of your domain
- Click Install to begin the process
- Once complete, a confirmation message will appear advising the certificate has been installed
Your website is now secured with HTTPS. Visitors will see a padlock icon in their browser's address bar when accessing your site.
