Analysing Backlinks in Plesk
Learn how to analyse your website's backlinks using the SEO Toolkit in Plesk. Backlinks are links from other websites that point to yours, and they play an important role in how search engines rank your site. Understanding your backlink profile helps you identify opportunities and spot any harmful links.
Steps
- Log in to Plesk via your Zeniar Portal
- Select Websites & Domains from the left-hand menu
- Expand the website you'd like to analyse backlinks for
- Click on SEO Toolkit under the Dev Tools section
- Click the Backlink Tracker tab
- The dashboard will display an overview of your backlink profile, including:
- Total backlinks — The number of links pointing to your website
- Referring domains — The number of unique websites linking to yours
- New and lost backlinks — Links that have been recently gained or removed
- Link quality — An indication of whether links are helping or potentially harming your SEO
- Click on any backlink for more details, including the source page and anchor text used
Regularly reviewing your backlinks helps you maintain a healthy link profile and identify opportunities to build new, high-quality links.
