Managing Files in Plesk File Manager

Learn how to use the built-in File Manager in Plesk to upload, edit, and organise files on your hosting account. This is a quick and easy way to manage your website files without needing an FTP client.

Steps

1. Log in to Plesk via your Zeniar Portal
2. Select Files from the left-hand menu
3. Navigate to the website directory you'd like to manage
4. From here you can:
   • Upload files — Click the Upload button to add files from your computer
   • Create a new folder — Click New and select Create Directory
   • Create a new file — Click New and select Create File
   • Edit a file — Click on a file name and select Edit in Code Editor
   • Delete a file or folder — Tick the checkbox next to the item and click Remove
   • Change permissions — Click on a file or folder and select Change Permissions
